Commitment between Client and Artist for Trompe L'oeil Murals
The Client Commits to-
Accepting all costs for the mural which may include paint, hire of ladders or scaffolding, traveling time, handyman assistance and miscellaneous equipment.
Agree to reimburse the artist for all purchases of equipment immediately prior to the commencement of the mural.
Agree to pay a substantial deposit of the artist's fee, immediately prior to the commencement of the mural and regular installments of the fee, according to negotiations with the artist.
Agree with the artist's policy regarding missed payments. The artist will provide a reminder of payment with a 24 hour extension. If the extension lapses without payment, photographs of the progress of the mural will be taken and then the mural will be painted over with no further warnings or extensions of time. The artist will then quit the mural job. No further communication will be entered into.
Pay the final installment of the artist's fee on immediate completion of the mural and before final departure from the job site.
Agree the warranty for the work covers the guarantee provided by the paint maker only. The artist accepts no responsibility for damage to the mural caused by accident, incident or any other cause.
Agree the artist accepts no responsibility for injury or illness to anyone else. It is strongly advised all people and animals are strictly excluded from the painting area while work is underway.
Negotiate with the artist for any interruptions to the mural's progress and complete payment up to the commencement of the delay to the mural's progress.
Understand inclement weather conditions can affect the mural's progress but will not affect the negotiated fee.
Clients must provide a signature agreeing to all stipulations above before any work can commence.

Consideration and respect for the client's property and privacy.
Inconveniencing the client as little as humanly possible.
Keeping the site as tidy and safe as possible.
Finishing the job as quickly as possible, without compromising on quality.
Completing the job to the best of the artist's ability and taking the client's wishes into full consideration.
Working at all times with the intention of giving the client the best value for money as possible.
Provide receipts for equipment purchases and installment payments promptly.
Carrying adequate personal medical insurance.
Clear communications to help avoid misunderstandings.
Negotiate with the client with regard to any delays, interruptions or absences to or from the work site during the painting of the mural.
Request permission for a professional photographer to enter the client's property and abide by the client's decision.
To advertise any completed murals with extreme discretion regarding the client's privacy.
